In the photo, this item looked masculine and rugged. But it isn't real leather so it's not tough and won't protect from cold harsh weather. However, it's a soft faux leather that looks good. The zippered pockets are not real but they still add style. I like the color and it serves as an alternative sweatshirt hoodie fit for spring and summer wear. Since the price was low enough I will keep it even though it zips up on the female side. But, after returning so many jackets for being too delicate for a man's wear and tear, I've decided to buy my outerwear only after checking it out at the store from now on. I love Amazon but not everything can be bought based on a picture.Nice jacket but size chart is wrong and runs small and onlymoption to return is to pay shipping to China
